The TSURUMI TOS3-100-100 is Tsurumi's guide rail fitting (TOS set) for cast-iron submersible sewage pumps with a 100 mm (4-inch) discharge, with a 100 mm pump-side connection and a 100 mm outlet. It fits selected 100 mm models: B-series non-clog pumps of 5.5–7.5 kW, BZ-series pumps of 5.5–11 kW and C-series non-clog cutter pumps of 5.5–15 kW (full list below). The duckfoot bend is fixed to the sump floor; the pump slides down two guide pipes and couples to the discharge pipe automatically, and is released simply by lifting it out. Maintenance and inspection can be done without anyone entering the sump.
This is an installation accessory, not a pump, so it has no head, flow or power rating. The pump, guide pipes and anchor bolts are not included.
Selection note: not every 100 mm pump uses this set. The 100B42.2, 100B43.7, 100B43.7H, 100BZ42.2, 100BZ43.7, 100C42.2 and 100C43.7 need the TOS3-80-100 instead, and the 100B411, 100B415, 100B418.5 and 100B422 use the TOS-100F. For a free-standing pump without guide rails, choose the BEND 100-100 discharge bend together with the STAND SET (the 100C415 may need a different stand set, so please check before ordering).
What it is for
- Fixed sewage pits and sumps: the pump runs up and down the guide rails and couples to, or releases from, the fixed discharge pipe automatically.
- Building, industrial and wastewater pump rooms: lift the pump out for routine inspection or cleaning without dismantling the discharge pipework.
- Less sump entry: Tsurumi states that the TOS set connects the pump to and from the piping just by lowering and hoisting it, so maintenance does not require entering the sump.

Optional accessories
- Two guide pipes, cut to suit the sump depth.
- Anchor bolts to fix the duckfoot bend to the concrete floor.

- An intermediate guide bracket for deeper sumps; Tsurumi America recommends one for lift stations deeper than 15 ft (about 4.6 m).
Safety and installation
- Isolate and lock off pump power before fitting or changing any guide rail component.
- Lift the pump only by the supplied lifting chain and shackles or by the pump's lifting eye. Never lift it by the power or float cable. Check the chain and shackle rating against the pump's dry weight.
- Anchor the duckfoot bend to a level concrete floor with suitable anchor bolts. The two guide pipes must be vertical and parallel.
- Flange and thread standards must match exactly (JIS 10K, ANSI 150, BSP and NPT all differ), or the joint will leak or fail. Fit a suitable gasket at the pump-side square flange and tighten the bolts evenly.
- The guide rail exists so that staff need not enter the wet well. Any sump entry is confined-space work and needs gas testing and a permit to work.
Wear parts and routine checks
- Check the lifting chain and shackles regularly for wear, deformation or corrosion, and replace them if damaged.
- Whenever the pump is lifted for inspection, also check the coupling faces of the duckfoot bend and guide hook for wear, scale or trapped debris, and clean them. If the joint still leaks after cleaning, have it inspected.
