The TSURUMI TOS3-80-80 is a guide rail fitting (TOS set) for Tsurumi cast-iron sewage pumps. It is an installation accessory, not a pump, so it has no head, flow or power rating. Made of cast iron, the set is built around a duckfoot bend, a guide support and a guide hook, and suits pumps with an 80 mm (3-inch) discharge. The duckfoot bend is fixed to the sump floor and connected to the discharge pipe. Lowering the pump down two guide pipes engages it with the bend; hoisting it disconnects it, so the pump can be inspected and serviced without anyone entering the sump.
Selection note: TOS sets are matched to specific pump models; this one does not fit every 80 mm Tsurumi pump. The 80C22.2-CR to 80C211-CR use the TOSH-80, the 80U series uses the TOS3-65-80, and the 80B411 to 80B422 use the TOS-80F. The 100 mm models 100B42.2, 100B43.7, 100B43.7H, 100C42.2 and 100C43.7 take the TOS3-80-100 (100 mm outlet). For free-standing installation of the 80B21.5 or 80C21.5, choose the BEND 80 discharge bend instead of a TOS set.
Purpose
- Guide rail installation: mounts a submersible sewage pump in a collection pit, sewage sump or pumping-station wet well, connected to fixed discharge pipework through the duckfoot bend.
- Easy maintenance: the pump is connected or released simply by lowering or hoisting it along the guide rails, with no need to enter the sump for inspection and servicing.
- Fixed discharge pipework: the duckfoot bend is anchored to the concrete sump floor, so the discharge pipe stays in place when the pump is lifted out.
Compatible pumps
According to Tsurumi's official selection tables, the TOS3-80-80 fits these 80 mm discharge models:
- 80B21.5 (B series non-clog sewage pump)
- 80C21.5 (C series cutter sewage pump)
- 80BZ41.5 (BZ series)
In the US market, the 3-inch ANSI version (TOS3-80-80 ANSI) is also used on the 3-inch discharge version of the 100C43.7-CR (TOS100C43.7-CR-63). Other models, including the UZ series, do not appear in the official selection tables. Please send us your pump model to confirm fit before ordering.

Optional accessories
- Two guide pipes (1-1/4 in / 32A), cut to suit the sump depth.
- Anchor bolts 4-M16×120L.
- Discharge pipe, mating flange and gaskets to the same connection standard as the outlet.
- An intermediate guide bracket for deep sumps (Tsurumi America recommends one for lift stations deeper than 15 ft, about 4.6 m).
Installation notes
- Isolate and lock off the pump power before fitting or changing any component.
- Anchor the duckfoot bend to a level concrete sump floor with the anchor bolts (4-M16×120L). Keep both guide pipes vertical and parallel.
- Lift the pump only by the set's lifting chain and shackles or by the pump's lifting eye, never by the power or float cable. Make sure the chain and shackles are rated for the pump's weight.
- Match flange and thread standards exactly: JIS 10K, ANSI 150 and BSP connections differ in dimensions, and NPT and BSP/Rc threads are not interchangeable. A mismatched joint can leak or fail under pressure.
- Use a matching gasket when connecting the discharge pipe and tighten the bolts evenly.
- The guide rail system exists so that staff do not need to enter the wet well. If entry is unavoidable, treat it as confined-space work, with gas testing and a permit to work.
