Tsurumi B Series pumps are basic heavy-duty submersible pumps designed for slurry discharge, renowned for their exceptional solids passage capability and stable, reliable operation. With years of extensive experience in industrial and water treatment fields, the B Series pumps utilize a channel impeller design to minimize the risk of clogging from solid and fibrous materials.
The B Series pumps offer a diverse range of discharge diameters, from 50mm to 300mm, with power output ranging from 0.4kW to 75kW. The series includes high-head models and single-phase BP models, fully meeting various high-flow pumping demands. Especially the high-head pumps effectively respond to the construction equipment market's demand for energy and water saving, while also being suitable for other high-head applications.
Furthermore, the B Series pumps can be used with Tsurumi's guide rail accessory equipment (excluding BP models), greatly simplifying installation and maintenance processes.
Tsurumi pumps incorporate several of the brand's original advanced technologies to ensure their superior stability, durability, and quality for long-term continuous operation.

The impeller design and channel structure of the B Series pumps are highly similar, effectively reducing the possibility of solid and fibrous materials clogging inside the pump. Depending on different pumping requirements, the pumps are equipped with semi-open or closed impellers, and one or two vanes, ensuring the most suitable impeller type is selected to minimize clogging issues.

Effectively prevents water ingress due to damaged cable sheathing or submerged cable ends, while also preventing humid air from entering the motor housing and forming condensation.
Automatic Reset Type Thermal Protector (7.5kW and below): Automatically cuts off the circuit when the motor overheats or is overloaded.
Miniature Thermal Protector (11kW and above): Responds to overheating caused by dry running; a bimetallic strip opens to cut off power.
A water jacket surrounds the pump motor frame, allowing some pumped liquid to flow through to cool the motor, ensuring the pump can operate for extended periods even in low water level conditions.
Seals are isolated from the oil chamber, maintaining a clean, non-corrosive lubrication environment. Compared to water-cooled seals, it reduces the risk of dry heat and adhesion failures. Silicon carbide offers 5 times higher corrosion, wear, and heat resistance than tungsten carbide. Rubber components use NBR or FPM (FKM) for higher heat and chemical resistance.
Tsurumi's original design effectively lubricates and cools the seal faces even when the oil level is as low as 1/3 of normal, ensuring stable shaft seal performance and extending seal life.
Monitors for water ingress into the oil chamber. Upon detecting overflow, it sends a signal to an external control panel.
Protects the mechanical seal from pump pressure and protects the sealing faces by discharging wear particles.
Acts as a "dust seal" to protect the mechanical seal from abrasive particle ingress. The labyrinth ring (150B475 only) provides enhanced protection against wear caused by high casing pressure and improves maintainability.
Installed on the water jacket or pump casing to effectively prevent air lock issues. When water flows, the ball floats to close the outlet.
Prevents wear on the pump casing and suction cover, effectively reducing maintenance costs.
Tsurumi's BZ Series pumps feature closed-channel single/dual vane impellers and wide flow channels exceeding 3 inches (76.2mm) in diameter (maximum passage span up to 90mm), minimizing clogging issues from solid and fibrous materials. As medium to large pumps with drive power ranging from 22kW to 75kW, the BZ Series not only surpasses Tsurumi's previous generation pumps' ultra-high pumping efficiency standards but also achieves higher energy efficiency. This series of pumps can also be used with Tsurumi's guide rail accessory equipment for easy installation and maintenance, inheriting Tsurumi's multiple original technologies to ensure ultimate reliability and durability.
