As part of the Krystol Crack Repair System, Krystol Repair Grout is a crystalline concrete waterproofing product that stops water flow to permanently repair leaking cracks, voids, and construction joints in concrete. It can also be used for surface repairs and waterproofing of defective, damaged, or deteriorated concrete. The repair grout utilizes advanced fiber technology and shrinkage-controlling additives to prevent cracking.
Krystol Repair Grout contains Krystol Technology. When applied to concrete, Krystol chemically reacts with water and unhydrated cement particles to form insoluble needle-like crystals that fill the pores and micro-cracks in the concrete, blocking the pathways for moisture and waterborne contaminants. Moisture entering the concrete over its service life will reactivate the crystallization process, ensuring permanent waterproofing of the concrete.
Use with Krystol Plug quick-setting cement to repair leaking cracks, construction joints, and other concrete defects.

Step 1, stop active water with Krystol Plug quick-setting cement; Step 2, mix Krystol Repair Grout with water to a stiff dough consistency (approximately 4 parts powder to 1 part water by volume) and pack firmly into the void/groove. Use extra powder material when repairing longitudinal cracks to ensure adequate grout thickness. Cure for at least 24 hours after application to prevent washout by rain, rapid drying, and freeze-thaw damage.
Krystol Repair Grout is intended for rigid structures only. Waterproofing performance is not guaranteed on structures with moving loads or repeated movement. Consult with a Kryton sales representative for specific project requirements.
