Product Overview

The TSURUMI 50NHC23.7 is a specific model within the NHC-series submersible cutter-type sewage pump line: 50mm discharge bore, 2-pole motor, 3.7kW output, three-phase power, D.O.L. (direct-on-line) starting. It uses a semi-open, two-channel impeller with two tungsten-carbide alloy cutting edges brazed onto the impeller vane and the serrated suction cover, allowing it to shred wipes, nylon stockings, plastic bags and other fibrous debris before discharge. It is well suited to sewage collection pits in Hong Kong shopping malls, restaurants, building septic/sump pits and factory sumps where fibrous solids are common.

Key Features

Cutting mechanism: tungsten-carbide alloy edges brazed onto both the impeller vane and the serrated suction cover shred fibrous debris to prevent clogging
Dual inside mechanical seal with the patented Oil Lifter, which keeps the seal faces lubricated and cooled even when oil level drops to about 1/3 of normal
Silicon-carbide mechanical seal faces for high wear, corrosion and heat resistance
Continuous-duty rated, dry-type induction motor with Class F insulation and built-in thermal motor protector
50mm bore paired with a 3.7kW motor — one of the higher-output models in the NHC 50mm-bore lineup, suited to heavier-duty sewage duty
Standard 6m power cable; available in free-standing or guide-rail (TOS) fitting configuration
