The TSURUMI 50NHC23.0 is a submersible non-clogging cutter type sewage pump from the NHC series, with a 50mm discharge bore and a 2-pole, 3.0kW motor running at approximately 3000 min⁻¹ (50Hz). The semi-open two-channel cutter impeller carries two brazed tungsten carbide alloy cutting edges that work against a serrated suction cover to shred fibrous debris before it is discharged, preventing clogging. This is the free-standing (non guide-rail) configuration, suited to sewage and wastewater duties where towels, rags, plastic bags and similar debris are commonly present.
