Tsurumi's C series pumps are heavy-duty submersible non-clogging cutter type pumps designed for handling sewage and wastewater. Their robust cast iron construction and unique cutting mechanism ensure efficient operation in demanding environments.
The cutting mechanism consists of impeller vanes with brazed tungsten carbide alloy edges and a serrated suction port. This innovative design shreds fibrous solids upon suction, enabling smooth, clog-free pumping. The C series pumps are widely used for sewage and wastewater discharge from buildings, kitchens, and commercial complexes, transferring this wastewater to specialized treatment facilities.
The C series offers a rich product line, covering discharge diameters from 50mm to 200mm and motor output powers from 0.75kW to 37kW. Notably, the "CR" models feature impellers and suction ports made of high-chromium cast iron, significantly enhancing durability and wear resistance.
All C series pumps can be combined with accessory discharge equipment for easy installation and maintenance. Furthermore, Tsurumi provides an optional dry-pit pump model, allowing flexible installation indoors or outside the pit, delivering the same excellent performance as traditional submersible pumps even in dry-pit environments.
The core advantage of Tsurumi's C series pumps lies in their powerful cutting mechanism, capable of easily handling various common fibrous or solid objects, ensuring continuous and stable pump operation and preventing blockages.

The excellent performance of Tsurumi's C series pumps stems from their precise internal structure and multiple Tsurumi original patented technologies. These technologies ensure the pump's durability, reliability, and long-term stable operation.

The cutting pump mechanism consists of impeller vanes with brazed sintered tungsten carbide alloy edges and a serrated suction port. The front surface of the suction cover has grooves that effectively capture fibrous materials, which are then rapidly shredded by the tungsten carbide alloy edges of the impeller vanes and the serrations of the suction cover. This design fundamentally prevents blockages caused by fibrous materials.

Effectively prevents water ingress and moisture from entering the motor housing due to cable damage or submersion, avoiding internal condensation.
Automatic reset type thermal protector (for 7.5kW and below) and miniature thermal protector (for 11kW and above) automatically cut off power when the motor overheats or is overloaded, protecting the motor.
Isolated within the oil chamber, ensuring a clean lubrication environment. Silicon carbide is 5 times more resistant to corrosion, wear, and heat than tungsten carbide, significantly reducing the risk of failure.
Effectively lubricates and cools the seal even when the oil level is as low as 1/3 of normal, maintaining stable shaft seal performance and extending seal life.
Detects overflow issues in the sump and oil chamber and notifies an external control panel via a signal, preventing potential damage.
Acts as a "dust seal," effectively protecting the mechanical seal from abrasive particles.
Protects the mechanical seal from pump pressure and protects the sealing surface by discharging wear particles.
Installed on the pump casing to prevent air lock issues and ensure efficient pump operation.
As a special option for Tsurumi's C series cutter pumps, the dry-pit version is primarily designed for discharging scenarios in buildings where various sewage and wastewater are expected. Its unique feature is the flexible installation indoors or outside the pit, while maintaining the excellent performance of traditional submersible pumps.
Since the pump body is installed outdoors, daily inspection and maintenance become exceptionally convenient. The dry-pit pump utilizes core technologies from Tsurumi's submersible pumps, such as anti-submersion cables, dual silicon carbide internal mechanical seals, and the Oil Lifter, with design considerations for high-temperature resistance, employing high-specification components like high-temperature grease for bearings, Class H insulation materials, leakage sensors, FPM (FKM) mechanical seals, and premium lubricating oil.
Tsurumi's dry-pit pumps, with their high-quality and reliable design, ensure exceptional durability and high wear resistance, operating stably in various locations and significantly helping facilities reduce maintenance costs.
