Product Overview

The TSURUMI 50NHC21.5 is a submersible cutter-type non-clogging pump from the NHC series, fitted with a 50mm discharge bore and a 1.5kW, 2-pole motor. It uses a semi-open two-channel impeller together with a serrated suction cover embedded with two tungsten-carbide alloy cutting edges, which shred hair, lint and fibrous debris in the incoming wastewater into fine fragments so they pass cleanly through the pump body and discharge piping, avoiding the clogging that plagues conventional pumps. As a compact model, the 50NHC21.5 suits smaller-volume drainage duties that nonetheless carry a significant amount of fibrous solids requiring cutting action.

Key Features

Serrated suction cover embedded with twin tungsten-carbide alloy cutting edges shreds fibrous matter into fragments that discharge cleanly, effectively preventing clogging.
Semi-open two-channel impeller paired with a gray cast iron casing provides strong wear resistance and long-term stable performance.
Dual inside mechanical seals (silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide) with a patented Oil Lifter maintain lubrication and cooling even when oil level drops to 1/3 of normal, extending seal life.
Continuous-duty rated, dry-type induction motor with Class F insulation and a built-in Circle Thermal Protector (CTP) that cuts power automatically on overheating.
420 stainless steel shaft and a chloroprene rubber sheathed cable, standard 6m length, offering water and oil resistance.
50mm discharge bore with a 2-pole motor running at 3000 min⁻¹, in a compact, lightweight body (approx. 37kg free-standing) for easy installation in small pump stations.
