The Tsurumi KTZE21.5 is the smallest model in the KTZE general construction dewatering pump (automatic operation type) lineup, fitted with a 50mm discharge bore and a 1.5kW three-phase 2-pole motor. The pump uses a semi-open, high-chromium cast iron impeller together with a gray cast iron casing and suction cover for durability in abrasive site conditions. Built into the pump is Tsurumi's original electrode-type relay unit, which automatically starts and stops the pump according to water level without any external float switch, preventing dry-running and reducing power consumption by up to 40% compared with non-automatic models while extending service life. The top-discharge, side-inlet flow design combined with a slim body ensures effective motor cooling even when the pump runs partially exposed to air, making it well suited to confined installation spaces such as construction sites, sumps and basements.
