LOCTITE® 638 is a high-strength, single-component anaerobic retaining compound designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts. It cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and is ideal for narrow bond gaps up to 0.25 mm (0.01"). It provides fast cure on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration.
