LOCTITE #243 Threadlocker is a medium-strength, blue threadlocking adhesive that requires no primer. It effectively locks and seals metal nuts and bolts to prevent loosening caused by shock and vibration. Suitable for all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces, it also tolerates light contamination from industrial oils like motor oil, rust preventatives, and cutting fluids. When disassembly is needed, it can be removed using hand tools.
