Product Overview

The WORX WU980B is a 220V corded industrial brushless angle grinder rated at 1050W with a no-load speed of 12,000 rpm. It takes 100mm (4") discs with a 16mm bore and an M10 spindle thread, and weighs only 1.4kg. The switch sits at the rear of the housing as a push-type rear switch, so the tool starts and stops from the natural grip position, while the slim handle and compact gear head keep it manageable in tight or close-to-wall work.

A brushless motor removes carbon-brush wear and replacement from the maintenance routine, and intelligent constant-current control keeps output steady under heavy cutting or grinding loads. The 170V-260V wide-voltage design allows operation on site supplies that fluctuate. Intelligent protection and a spindle lock round out the package, making disc changes quick and the tool suitable for metal cutting, rust removal, weld dressing and polishing in maintenance and construction work.
