The WORX WU802 is a 20V cordless brushless mini variable-speed angle grinder (multi-purpose cut-off saw). A compact 42mm brushless motor paired with an eccentric gearbox delivers up to 20,000rpm and a maximum cutting depth of 22mm, using 76mm (3") cutting discs with a 10mm arbor. At just 0.9kg bare-tool weight and 242 x 127 x 108mm, with a short lever-arm design that puts the grip centre close to the cutting point, it is comfortable to control one-handed — ideal for plumbing and electrical installation, ceiling carpentry, door and window fitting, low-voltage cabling and tile-joint cleaning in tight spaces. Three speed settings match the material: 8,000rpm for fine work such as joint cleaning, 14,000rpm for cutting openings in locks, steel doors and timber doors, and 20,000rpm for steel, tile and finished timber. A one-touch forward/reverse switch lets you direct sparks and debris away from you, and the tool brakes to a stop within 0.5 seconds of trigger release. This kit ships with a 2.0Ah battery and a 2A charger, plus resin, diamond and multi-purpose cutting discs for stainless steel, copper and aluminium, hard tile, ceramic and marble, and rebar, drywall, plasterboard and PVC pipe.
