The WORX WU800S.1 is a 100mm (4") angle grinder from the WORX industrial corded power tool range, built for a 110V supply. It delivers 720W of rated input power and a no-load speed of 12,000 rpm, covering metal grinding, rust and burr removal, slotting, cutting and polishing in maintenance, repair and renovation work. The side-mounted switch keeps the trigger away from the wheel so the tool can be controlled with both hands, while the slim waist and optimised cooling airflow keep it comfortable over long working sessions. A spindle lock makes wheel changes straightforward, and the detachable air window allows the accumulated dust to be cleared for longer tool life.

Side switch for safer control

The lock-on/off switch sits on the side of the body, falling naturally under the fingers so the tool can be started and stopped without changing grip. Positioned away from the wheel and paired with the auxiliary handle, it supports stable two-handed operation during extended grinding or cutting.

Slim body with optimised cooling

The narrowed grip section and rear air window promote smooth exhaust flow and a lower running temperature, and make the tool easier to handle in confined spaces. The air window is detachable for routine clearing of metal dust.
