The WORX WU698 is a 20V cordless brushless oscillating multi-tool (Sonicrafter) that combines sawing, cutting, scraping, sanding and polishing in a single machine, making it suitable for fit-out work, carpentry, electrical and plumbing jobs, and everyday maintenance. Driven by a brushless motor, it oscillates at 10,000-20,000 opm and its 5-degree oscillation angle delivers a longer cut line and deeper cutting, improving working efficiency by around 50% over the previous generation. The patented vibrafree suspension system adds damping cushions at the three main vibration sources and uses elastic material to absorb high-frequency shake, reducing vibration by roughly 70% versus the previous generation. Five speed settings plus an Auto Load mode let you match the speed to stone, metal or timber, and the built-in LED head light lets you work in dark corners and enclosed spaces. The bare tool weighs only 1.1 kg, and the quick-change wrench lets you swap accessories without extra tools. This kit ships with two 20V 2.0Ah lithium battery packs and a 2A charger, so it is ready to work out of the box.

5 Speeds + Auto Load Smart Control

Five manual speed settings: the higher settings suit sawing, sanding and polishing stone, while the lower settings suit metal cutting and polishing smooth surfaces. The Auto Load mode monitors load current, starting slowly under no load so the blade can be positioned accurately, then automatically ramping up to 20,000 opm once the tool is under load for smooth, stall-free cutting.

Patented vibrafree Suspension

Damping cushions at the three main vibration sources absorb high-frequency shake through elastic material, cutting vibration by about 70% compared with the previous generation and reducing hand fatigue on long jobs.
