The WORX WU595 20V MakerX Electric Shear Kit is part of the WORX Maker X series (international model WX745) and is a handheld rotary cutter that cuts with a continuously rotating circular blade. It runs a 38mm blade with a maximum cutting thickness of 6mm at a no-load speed of 300 rpm, slicing cleanly through cardboard, plastic packaging, heavy fabric, leather, carpet and vinyl flooring with a straight, low-fray edge. The tool weighs only 0.36kg, and its slim in-line grip and ergonomic balance keep one-handed work comfortable over long sessions. The self-sharpening blade keeps its edge honed during use, while a lock-out switch prevents unintentional starting and a cut-line indicator gives a clear reference point for following a marked line.

This kit is a complete ready-to-use configuration, supplied with a 20V 2.0Ah lithium battery, a 2A charger and the MakerX power switch cord (battery adapter with flexible cord). The adapter carries a variable-speed dial for on-the-fly control of tool speed and output, and the soft braided cord keeps the battery weight off your hand for a lighter, more agile grip. The same battery and adapter also power the other tools in the Maker X series (rotary tool, angle grinder, air brush, mini heat gun, soldering iron, hot melt glue gun and mini blower), so one battery platform can be expanded tool by tool.
