The WORX WU385.3 is a 24mm brushless 3-function cordless rotary hammer on the 20V Kross Pack lithium platform. Its brushless motor delivers 2.5 joules of impact energy, 1000 rpm no-load speed and an impact rate of 0–5000 bpm, with maximum drilling capacities of 24mm in concrete (C30), 13mm in steel and 27mm in wood, and an optimal drilling range of 8–12mm — well suited to anchor holes, conduit openings and bracket fixing in renovation, M&E and interior fit-out work. The SDS-plus chuck allows tool-free bit changes, while the mode selector offers hammer drilling, rotary-only drilling and chiselling, plus a chisel-angle adjustment position, so one tool covers both drilling and light chipping. At just 2.3kg bare, it stays manageable in one hand during overhead drilling. This WU385.3 kit ships with two 20V 5.0Ah battery packs and a 6A fast charger.

Features & Benefits

PURE FORCE dust extraction ready

The body is designed for the PURE FORCE system, so the optional WA1603 integrated dust box can be fitted. The dust box has its own motor (no separate battery required), a run-on cleaning function and a HEPA filter rated at 99.97% filtration; total weight with the dust box is about 3.2kg. The WA1603 is sold separately and is NOT included in this kit.

G-TEC anti-twist with electronic clutch

If the bit hits rebar or jams, the G-TEC gyroscope detects the sudden rotation of the body and the electronic clutch cuts drive, reducing kickback and the risk of wrist injury — useful when working one-handed or overhead.

Brushless motor: stable output, better efficiency and no carbon brushes to replace.
PULSE ASSIST mode: pulsed start for tiles, marble and other brittle materials to reduce chipping and cracking.
Three functions plus chisel-angle adjustment: hammer drilling, rotary drilling and chiselling in one tool.
SDS-plus chuck: tool-free bit changes, compatible with standard SDS-plus drill and chisel bits.
Dual vibration-damped handle with soft-grip rubber for longer working sessions.
20V Kross Pack platform: batteries and charger are shared across the WORX 20V range.
