The WORX WU298D.9 is the bare-tool version of the WU298D 20V brushless hydraulic impact driver, made for users who already own WORX 20V batteries. Its brushless motor drives a hydraulic impact mechanism delivering up to 60 N·m of torque across three selectable settings (20 / 40 / 60 N·m), with no-load speeds of 0-1200 / 2200 / 3000 rpm and impact rates of 0-1600 / 3500 / 4100 ipm, and can be dialled down to 1 N·m for delicate fastening. The hydraulic mechanism keeps operating noise to roughly 75 dB — far quieter than a conventional mechanical impact driver — making it well suited to furniture assembly and maintenance in offices, malls and residential settings. At just 1.0 kg bare, with a Hall-effect linear-start trigger and a two-level ring LED, it stays comfortable through long jobs.
