Product Overview

The WORX WU182X.9 is the bare-tool version of the 20V brushless two-speed drill driver from the WORX industrial cordless range. Its brushless motor removes carbon-brush wear, transferring power more directly with less heat build-up, while the two-speed gearbox switches between a 0-550 rpm high-torque range for driving long screws and boring large-diameter holes in timber, and a 0-2300 rpm high-speed range for fast drilling in metal and sheet material. With up to 70N·m of torque and a drilling capacity of 35mm in wood and 13mm in steel, it covers everyday fit-out, M&E installation, joinery and general maintenance work.

A 13mm keyless chuck allows bits and driver tips to be changed by hand without a chuck key. The clutch collar offers 18+1 torque settings (including a drill mode), so fastening torque can be preset to the material and screw size to avoid stripping threads or driving through the workpiece; switching to drill mode disengages the clutch for pure drilling. At just 0.98kg as a bare tool, it stays manageable during overhead work and in confined spaces.
