When a visitor presses the doorbell, the lock sends a quick notification to your app. Tap to answer the call for seamless two-way audio conversation and remotely check your front door. When the doorbell rings, the video door viewer automatically captures a photo or video. Even if you miss a call, you can review visitor records anytime through the message history.

The DDL702-MVP-17HWS is equipped with a wide-angle camera and four low-power infrared lights, offering day and night modes. In low light, the infrared lights activate automatically, transitioning to night mode. This ensures clear facial recognition within a 2-metre range, even in dimly lit environments near the lock.

Encrypted data is not easily lost

After activating the cloud storage service, the DDL702-MVP-17HWS securely uploads captured/recorded information in encrypted form to the cloud storage server. Should the lock be misused or damaged, rest assured that the data stored in the cloud will remain intact. You can conveniently access and view this information anytime via the app, ensuring your data is always secure and accessible.

Your real-time home guardian

The DDL702-MVP-17HWS uses a radar sensor. When it detects someone loitering within 1 metre* of the door, it activates the smart door viewer for automatic tracking and capture. At the same time, the captured/recorded information is promptly pushed to the app to send real-time alerts. This enables you to easily monitor activity at your doorstep, thereby reducing potential security risks.

The DDL702-MVP-17HWS offers a real-time voice-changing feature. When using a mobile device for remote video intercom, you can select 'Original Voice', 'Low Voice', or even 'Funny Voice' to mask your real voice. This feature allows you to interact confidently with strangers outside your door, fully protecting your privacy and safety.

Auto-locks upon closing

Compared with conventional mechanical locks, the Philips DDL702-MVP-17HWS integrates a mechanical-electronic lock body. When the auxiliary latch is triggered, it automatically detects the lock status. If the lock is detected as closed, the external motor activates within 10 seconds* to complete the deadbolt locking, ensuring enhanced security and convenience.
