The Makita BS002GZ is a 40Vmax XGT cordless pipe belt sander driven by a BL brushless motor and running a 40 x 760 mm (1-9/16" x 30") abrasive belt. It is made for grinding and polishing curved metal surfaces such as stainless steel handrails and pipe welds, and works on pipes up to ø125 mm (5") in diameter. The variable speed dial covers 3.1 - 13.5 m/s, so it can polish smoothly at low speed or strip rust and paint quickly at high speed. This is the body-only version: battery and charger are not included.
