The Makita LS1019L is a 255 mm (10-1/4") dual-bevel sliding compound miter saw with laser guidance, designed for professional woodworking and metal cutting. It features a unique 2-steel rail sliding system that reduces the saw's footprint and allows operation flush against a wall, ideal for confined job sites. The innovative direct-drive gearbox and guard system increase vertical cutting capacity, handling up to 5-1/4" baseboard and 6-5/8" crown molding (nested), the largest in its class. Powered by a 1,510W direct-drive motor delivering 3,200 RPM with electronic speed control, it maintains constant speed under load for smooth, accurate cuts. The built-in laser clearly indicates the line of cut, with micro-adjustments for left or right offset. Dual dust collection ports provide excellent dust extraction. The large aluminum base enhances stability. Includes carbide-tipped blade, triangle gauge, vertical clamp, work stand assembly, dust bag, and socket wrench.
