The Makita TW160DSAE is a brushless cordless impact wrench on the 12V max CXT lithium-ion platform, with a 9.5 mm (3/8 in.) square drive, 160 N·m of max fastening torque and 290 N·m of nut-busting torque. At only 144 mm long and 1.0 – 1.2 kg, it suits automotive repair, machinery assembly and bolt fastening in tight spaces. TW160DSAE is the kit version, supplied with two 2.0Ah batteries and a fast charger.

Brushless (BL) motor delivers up to 2,400 RPM, 3,600 IPM and 160 N·m of max torque, running cooler and more efficiently for longer life.
Electronically controlled motor matches torque and RPM to the demands of the application and optimises battery energy use for longer run time per charge.
Variable 2-speed control (0 – 1,300 / 0 – 2,400 RPM and 0 – 2,000 / 0 – 3,600 IPM) for fastening control across a wide range of applications.
Reverse rotation auto-stop mode stops the tool 0.2 seconds after the bolt or nut is loosened enough, preventing nuts from running off the thread and getting lost.
Ultra-compact at only 144 mm (5-5/8 in.) long and lightweight for reduced operator fatigue.
3/8 in. (9.5 mm) square drive allows quick socket changes and fits most common automotive sockets.
Aluminium hammer case adds rigidity and durability to the machine.
Built-in LED job light with pre-glow and afterglow functions illuminates the work area.
Electric brake for increased operator safety; conveniently located reversing switch.
Ergonomic shape with soft grip handle for comfortable, even control.
