The Makita M8701ZB is an MT-series 26 mm combination (rotary) hammer with an SDS-Plus chuck and an 800 W motor delivering 2.3 J of impact energy. Three operating modes - rotation only, hammering with rotation, and hammering only - cover drilling, hole-making and light chipping, with a maximum drilling capacity of 26 mm in concrete. A variable speed trigger, reversing function and torque limiter make it suited to fit-out, mechanical and electrical, and general construction work.
