The Makita KT001GZ is a 40Vmax XGT cordless kettle with a 0.8 L (800mL) water tank. It can be powered by two 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion batteries in parallel, a single 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion battery, or the PDC1200 portable power pack, so water can be boiled without fire even at job sites where no AC socket is available. A dual-layer structure with an inner stainless layer and an outer plastic layer gives high heat retention while keeping the kettle surface cool. This is the body-only version: no battery or charger is supplied.
