The Makita JR003GZ is a 40Vmax XGT cordless recipro saw driven by a BL brushless motor and fitted with a chain vise that clamps and cuts pipe up to ø220 mm in outside diameter. It delivers a 26 mm stroke length at 0 - 2,200 min⁻¹, with the stroke rate adjustable between 800 and 2,200 and constant speed control to limit speed drop under load. XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) gives dust and water resistance for site pipe and metal cutting. This is the body-only version: no battery or charger is supplied.

Cuts pipes up to ø220 mm by clamping them with the chain vise; a built-in spring keeps the chain secure while wrapping and tightening.
Can be used as a standard recipro saw with the front grip and an optional blade clamp.
Blade clamp is easily replaced by loosening the hex socket bolts, without removing the shoe.
Adjustable stroke rate of 800 - 2,200 min⁻¹ for better efficiency and longer blade life.
Constant speed control minimises speed reduction under load; soft start, variable speed and electric brake are included.
Anti-restart function prevents unintended start-up when a battery is inserted.
High water resistance with XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology).
