The Makita DWT310ZK is a cordless shear wrench running on the 18V x 2 (36V) LXT lithium-ion platform, built for fastening torque shear type high strength bolts (T.C. bolts) in structural steel work. Its brushless motor delivers up to 804 N·m of maximum fastening torque and handles M16, M20 and M22 bolts. XPT protection and an electric brake are built in, and the carrying hook plus supplied shoulder belt make overhead and confined-space work easier. This is the body-only version: battery and charger are not included.

Brushless (BL) motor runs maintenance-free with no carbon brushes, for higher efficiency and longer tool life.
Maximum fastening torque of 804 N·m (593 ft.lbs.), fastening up to 14% faster than the corded model 6922NB.
Fastens approximately 380 M22 torque shear bolts on a single charge with two BL1860B batteries.
Handles M16, M20 and M22 (5/8", 3/4", 7/8") torque shear type high strength bolts; M16 and M20 for SHTB.
eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) improves dust and water resistance on site.
Electric brake stops the spindle quickly for better productivity and operator safety.
Battery protection system cuts power when charge runs low; the indicator blinks when fewer than about 10 bolts can still be tightened.
Integrated carrying hook works with the supplied shoulder belt for transport and overhead work.
Two 18V LXT batteries in series give 36V output on the existing LXT platform; not compatible with BL1815.
