The Makita DST421ZK is an 18V lithium-ion cordless stapler supplied as a body-only tool. It drives J-type wire staples 4 mm (5/32") wide and 13mm to 25mm long, with a magazine that holds 100 staples. An electronically controlled contact arm gives roughly 30% quicker fire response than the ST420D, and the tool includes an anti-dry fire mechanism, a built-in job light and dial depth adjustment. Net weight is 2.5 kg with battery. Battery and charger are not included.
