The Makita DLM466Z is a 460 mm (18-1/8") cordless lawn mower powered by two 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries in series for 36V output, with a BL brushless motor and 1,400 W max output. Its steel deck and 3-in-1 design handle lawn mowing, grass collecting and mulching, with cutting height adjustable in 10 stages from 20 to 75 mm. A noise reduction mode makes it suitable for noise sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods. This is the body-only version: battery and charger are not included.

Runs on two 18V LXT batteries in series (36V) with 1,400 W max output, with no cord and no petrol.
460 mm (18-1/8") cutting width with a steel deck and BL brushless motor, suited to medium-sized gardens.
3 in 1 operation: lawn mowing / grass collecting / mulching. The supplied two-tooth blade cuts and mulches; the optional mulching blade (sold separately) chops grass into finer pieces.
Electronic 2-speed: normal mode 3,300 min⁻¹ and noise reduction mode 2,500 min⁻¹ for low-noise mowing in noise sensitive areas.
Cutting height adjustable in 10 stages from 20 mm (13/16") to 75 mm (2-15/16") with one easy movement.
The blade is tilted slightly forward, minimising double-cutting and reducing load for more comfortable operation.
Handle folds in half and its height adjusts in three stages by loosening the thumb screws, no tools required.
Ergonomic soft grip plus an electric brake that stops the blade for user protection.
Constant speed control keeps cutting performance steady.
A red LED on the rear of the battery cover blinks when battery capacity is low and lights up when it runs out.
The inside of the cutting deck is washable with water for easy maintenance (high-pressure water is not allowable).
XPT dust and drip resistant technology.
