The Makita DHP490Z is an 18V cordless hammer driver drill built on the 18V lithium-ion platform and driven by a BL brushless motor. It offers three action modes - drilling, hammer drilling and screwdriving - with mechanical 2-speed gearing delivering 0 - 1,900 minˉ¹ in High and 0 - 500 minˉ¹ in Low. Max torque is 65 N·m, with drilling capacity of 13 mm (1/2") in masonry and steel and 38 mm (1-1/2") in wood. The tool has 20 torque settings and is XPT dust and drip resistant. This is a body-only version: no battery or charger is supplied.
