The Makita DHP490WV is an 18V lithium-ion cordless hammer driver drill built around a BL brushless motor, with three action modes: drilling, hammer drilling and screwdriving. Mechanical 2-speed gearing delivers 0 - 1,900 minˉ¹ in High and 0 - 500 minˉ¹ in Low, with 65 N·m maximum torque and a capacity of 13 mm (1/2") in masonry and steel and 38 mm (1-1/2") in wood. It offers 20 torque settings and is XPT dust- and drip-resistant. This model ships with a basic charger (DCB18WA) and a 2.0 Ah basic battery (BLB182).
