The Makita DHP489Z is an 18V cordless hammer driver drill built around a BL brushless motor and a metal gear housing. Its mechanical 2-speed gearbox delivers 0 - 1,800 rpm in high and 0 - 550 rpm in low, with up to 73 N·m of hard fastening torque. Capacity covers 13mm in steel, 38mm in wood and 16mm in masonry, and XPT dust and drip resistance is built in. This is the body-only version: no battery or charger is included.
