The Makita DHP482SFX8 is an 18V cordless hammer driver drill that switches between drill and hammer drill modes for drilling and fastening in steel, wood and masonry. It drills up to 13mm in steel, 38mm in wood and 13mm in masonry, with a maximum fastening torque of 62N.m on a hard joint. The mechanical 2-speed gearbox delivers 0-1,900 rpm and up to 28,500 ipm, and the tool weighs just 1.8kg with battery. XPT dust and drip resistant construction is built in.
