The Makita DG002GZ is a cordless earth auger on the 40V max XGT platform, supplied as a body-only tool. It runs a BL brushless motor with 1,350 W max output and a mechanical 2-speed gearbox: 0 - 1,500 min⁻¹ in high and 0 - 400 min⁻¹ in low, delivering up to 136 N·m of torque in low speed. The auger bit attaches directly, boring up to 150 mm in clay soil and 200 mm in sandy soil, suiting planting, fence-post holes and agricultural frame work. Battery, charger and auger bit are not included with this model.
