The Makita DG001GZ09 is a 40Vmax series cordless earth auger supplied as a body-only tool. It runs a BL brushless motor with 1,350 W max output and a mechanical 2-speed gearbox: 0 - 1,500 rpm in high for fast boring, 0 - 400 rpm in low for up to 136 N·m of torque. Capacity is 200 mm in sandy soil and 150 mm in clay soil. A torque limiter, reversing switch and XPT dust- and drip-resistant construction suit it to fence posts, tree planting and foundation holes. Battery and charger are not included with this body-only model.
