The Makita DFR452Z is an 18V LXT cordless auto feed screwdriver built around a BL brushless motor with a no load speed of 0 - 6,000 rpm. It feeds collated screws from ø3.5 - 4.2 mm x 20 - 41 mm, making it suited to continuous fastening in drywall, wood and sheet metal. This is the body-only version and is supplied without battery and charger.

Features and Benefits

BL brushless motor with 0 - 6,000 rpm no load speed drives long drywall screws at high speed.
Push drive technology: the motor runs at full speed only when the screw is pressed against the board, reducing power consumption and noise.
High continuous work amount: approximately 2,700 pcs of 25 mm drywall screws on a BL1850B battery with trigger lock-on and push drive on (about 880 pcs with push drive off).
Redesigned screw feeding mechanism improves durability and reduces screw fall.
Casing material changed from plastic to aluminium for better durability.
Quick casing attachment and removal for easy changing and cleaning.
Reversing switch lever makes it easy to switch between clockwise tightening and counterclockwise loosening.
Lock button for extended continuous work.
Ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip.
Indicator lamp and belt clip included on the tool.
Runs on the Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion platform, sharing batteries with the rest of the range.
