The Makita DFJ214AM is a cordless fan jacket in size M. A flat fan unit driven by a BL brushless motor is built into each side of the jacket, drawing air through the double-layer fabric so it circulates around the wearer and keeps them cool in hot conditions. The jacket is powered through a battery holder and runs on Makita 18V or 12Vmax lithium-ion batteries, with electronic 4-speed control (Mode 1 to Mode 4). The outer shell is water-repellent and net weight including battery is only 0.54 kg.
