The Makita DF003GU201 is a 40Vmax XGT cordless driver drill built around a BL brushless motor, delivering up to 180 N·m of max torque through an all-metal 13 mm self-ratcheting keyless chuck. Its mechanical 3-speed transmission adds a medium-speed mode that combines torque and speed for demanding work such as driving long screws. Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT), an electronic clutch, an electric brake and XPT dust- and water-resistant construction are built in. This kit ships with two 4.0Ah batteries and a DC40RA fast charger.

Electric brake for productivity and operator safety; soft start in low-speed mode reduces kickback with high-inertia bits
Brighter LED job light with wider coverage, relocated to the base of the grip; extended light mode can serve as a jobsite light
All-metal 13 mm self-ratcheting keyless chuck for stronger bit grip, durability and fast bit changes
XPT dust- and water-resistant technology, conveniently located reversing switch and a durable reversible belt clip
Runs on the 40Vmax XGT battery platform with variable speed control
