The Makita DDF490RTJ is an 18V LXT cordless driver drill built around a BL brushless motor and rated at 65 N·m maximum torque. It pairs a 13 mm (1/2") keyless chuck with mechanical 2-speed gearing, 0 - 1,900 rpm in high and 0 - 500 rpm in low, plus 20 torque settings for accurate fastening across different screws and materials. XPT dust and drip resistance is supported, and the tool weighs 1.4 - 1.7 kg with a battery fitted, so it stays manageable in tight spaces. This is the kit version, supplied with a DC18RC fast charger and two 5.0 Ah batteries.
