The Makita BO007CGZ is a 40Vmax XGT cordless orbital sander supplied as a body-only tool. It runs a BL brushless motor with a 93 x 185 mm (3-5/8 x 7-1/4") square sanding base, 6,000 to 12,000 orbits per minute and a 2.0 mm orbit diameter. Power comes through a connector-style battery adapter, so the tool itself weighs just 1.1 kg without a battery, with a low overall height and a handle set close to the sanding surface for a feel close to a pneumatic sander. It supports XPT dust and water resistance and AWS wireless dust collection, and connects to a dust bag or a vacuum cleaner. This model is body only; battery and charger are not included.

Hook and loop fastening for fast abrasive changes; new net-type abrasive paper reduces clogging and improves paint sanding efficiency.
Replaceable pad saver reduces pad wear; tool hanger clips to a carabiner on a waist belt.
Dust bag with easy discharge mechanism, and connectable to vacuum cleaners; compatible with the AWS wireless dust collection system (AWS chip sold separately).
XPT dust and water resistant technology for demanding job site conditions.
Large lever for easy one-hand battery attachment and detachment.
Two cord lengths available: 1.6 m (standard) and 5.0 m (optional).
