The Makita BO005CGZ is the body-only version of the 40Vmax XGT cordless orbital sander. Driven by a BL brushless motor with a connector-style battery connection, it stays light and low in overall height for a feel close to a pneumatic sander. Variable speed runs 6,000-10,000 orbits per minute with a 3.0 mm orbit diameter and an 80 x 130 mm square pad, at 0.93 kg without battery. It features constant speed control, soft start and electric brake, and supports AWS wireless dust collection and XPT dust and water resistance, working with the dust bag or a vacuum cleaner.

Large lever for easy one-hand battery attachment and detachment; two cord lengths available, 1.6m standard and 5.0m optional.
No air piping, lubrication or compressor required, saving maintenance time.
