The Makita BN001GZ is a 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion brushless cordless framing nailer with a pneumatic spring drive system. It drives clipped-head collated nails from 50 to 90 mm long in 2.9 - 3.3 mm gauge, with a magazine capacity of 58 nails. Both full sequential actuation (single nailing) and contact actuation (continuous nailing) modes are selectable, with rapid firing of up to 4 nails per second using a BL4025 battery. A BL brushless motor and XPT dust and drip resistant construction suit it to framing and timber structure work. This model is the body only version: battery and charger are not included.

Developed from the DBN900, now with an XGT Li-Ion battery and a more powerful BL motor.
Significantly improved rapid firing capability of up to 4 nails per second (using a BL4025 battery).
Increased pneumatic spring compression speed drives nails up to 90 mm with a feel close to a pneumatic nailer.
Two operation modes: full sequential actuation for single nailing and contact actuation for continuous nailing.
LED job light with preglow and afterglow functions.
Driving depth is adjustable with the dial.
Anti-slip nose tip resists slipping when driving nails at an angle.
Window for checking the remaining nail quantity.
Anti-dry fire mechanism activates before the remaining nails reach zero, avoiding missed shots.
Different hooks can be fitted on the left and right sides; the rafter hook portion is 2-1/2" wide for hooking on ladders, scaffolding and 3x timbers.
Anti-restart function for safer operation.
XPT dust and drip resistant, water-resistance compatible construction.
