CEE industrial in-line connector sockets (IEC 60309 / CEE 17, 2xx series) are trailing female connectors that terminate a flexible cable mid-run. The cable is secured to screw terminals inside the housing, while the mating face accepts any matching CEE industrial plug, making the range ideal for temporary site power, custom extension leads, generator hook-ups, stage lighting and sound, and machinery distribution in plants and workshops. The series covers 16A, 32A and 63A current ratings with 3-pole 110V, 3-pole 220V, 4-pole 380V and 5-pole 380V configurations, in a high-impact insulated engineering-plastic housing rated IP44 against splashing water and dust.

Voltage is identified by the IEC 60309 international colour code: yellow for 110V, blue for 220V/230V and red for 380V/400V. Keyed clock positions prevent plugs and sockets of different voltage ratings from being mated, reducing the risk of mis-connection.
