OASE 54049 AquaActiv PondLith is a highly effective natural filter medium designed for pond water quality management. Primarily composed of zeolite minerals, this product features a unique microporous structure that reliably adsorbs and stores dissolved harmful substances in the water, especially nitrogen compounds (serving as a rapid auxiliary agent for excess ammonia). With a grain size between 5 and 10 mm, it is ideal as a support material for filtration systems. By adsorbing excess nutrients, PondLith indirectly deprives green algae of their food source, thereby effectively inhibiting algae growth and reducing water turbidity for natural water quality improvement. As the second stage product in the OASE 3-stage water care program, it is crucial for maintaining a clear and healthy pond environment. The product comes with a practical filter bag, making it easy for users to place the zeolite granules directly into the pond water or filtration system for simple operation, making it a key component for professional pond maintenance.
This powerful filter material reliably locks away harmful pollutants in the water with its natural mineral properties and promotes bacterial decomposition processes, bringing the water quality to an optimal state. Depending on the level of pollution, its effective period is approximately 125 days. Suitable for fish-free ponds (up to 2.5 m³, 1 kg per m³) and ponds with fish (up to 0.8 m³, 2 kg per m³; for koi ponds, 3 kg per m³ is recommended).
